Seamless steel pipes are perforated from a whole round steel, and
steel pipes without welds on the surface are called seamless steel
pipes. According to the production method, seamless steel pipes can
be divided into hot-rolled seamless steel pipes, cold-rolled
seamless steel pipes, cold-drawn seamless steel pipes, extruded
seamless steel pipes, and top pipes. According to the
cross-sectional shape, seamless steel pipes are divided into two
types: round and special-shaped. Special-shaped pipes have square,
oval, triangular, hexagonal, melon seed, star, and finned pipes.
The maximum diameter is 900mm and the minimum diameter is 4mm.
According to different uses, there are thick-walled seamless steel
pipes and thin-walled seamless steel pipes. Seamless steel pipes
are mainly used as petroleum geological drilling pipes,
petrochemical cracking pipes, boiler pipes, bearing pipes, and
high-precision structural steel pipes for automobiles, tractors,
and aviation.
Advantages: It can destroy the casting structure of the ingot,
refine the grain of the steel, and eliminate the defects of the
microstructure, so that the steel structure is dense and the
mechanical properties are improved. This improvement is mainly
reflected in the rolling direction, so that the steel is no longer
isotropic to a certain extent; the bubbles, cracks and porosity
formed during casting can also be welded under the action of high
temperature and pressure.

boilers, superheating pipes, large smoke pipes, small smoke pipes,
arch brick pipes and high temperature and high pressure boiler
pipes for locomotive boilers.
3. Pipes for machinery industry.
Such as aviation structural pipes (round pipes, elliptical pipes,
flat elliptical pipes), automobile semi-axle pipes, axle pipes,
automobile tractor structural pipes, tractor oil cooler pipes,
agricultural machinery square pipes and rectangular pipes,
transformer pipes and bearings tube etc.
